Town hall meeting to take up health care issues

A A town hall meeting on health care issues will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Cornelius City Council chambers, 1310 N. Adair St.

Hosted by State Rep. Chuck Riley, D-Hillsboro, the meeting will include a three-member panel of health care experts that will discuss access and affordability.

The panelists are: Maribeth Healey, executive director of Oregonians for Health Security; State Sen. Ben Westlund, D-Tumalo; and Rod Branyan, director of Washington County Department of Health and Human Services. Panel members will also answer questions from the public.

"I invite community members to share ideas on how to make health care more affordable and accessible" said Riley. "I look forward to listening to your concerns and questions about this critical issue for our state."
